Keshav is Deputy Manager – Communications and Development at ITDP India. He works closely with the communications team, managing editorial responsibilities for all written content supporting outreach, and communications capacity building. He also works with the development team on fundraising, reporting, and building partnerships.
An architect by training and a writer by interest, after graduating, he worked on building up a local newspaper focused on architecture and urban issues in Chennai, as a way to engage with the city-building process through his writing. To develop his writing ability, and to explore a range of disciplines, Keshav joined the Young India Fellowship, a Post-Graduate Programme in Liberal Studies at Ashoka University. He also went on to work at Ashoka University, to help set up the administration and communications for a new research and advocacy centre—the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability (3CS). Keshav brings his experience at the intersection of communications, sustainability, and urbanism to the team at ITDP.
In his free time, Keshav enjoys reading, writing poetry, and jamming with his band.
