Sanjay is a transport and public policy enthusiast, with a post graduation in Transport Economics and Management from National Rail and Transportation Institute (Currently Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya). Having done his Bachelors of Commerce (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, followed his passion towards transport.

Before joining ITDP India, he worked with Ashok Leyland. He brings with him an unique blend of experience in Risk consulting and management with comprehensive knowledge in Transport Economics, environmental impact of transport systems, Transport safety and reliability. He has represented the country in global events such as the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students, Sochi, Russia and the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

He is entrepreneurial by mindset and loves ideating new businesses. For leisure, he experiments with musical instruments and loves hearing music, plays cricket and badminton, enjoys long walks. He is also a self taught cook.
