Shivani is an architect passionate about creating meaningful spaces that resonate with people’s needs and expressions. Born and raised in Chennai, Shivani has an abiding love for her city and is eager to work on its ongoing developments. Her work with ITDP India primarily focuses on building healthy neighbourhoods and streets that are safe, inclusive, and accessible to all. She brings a good eye for detail and an intense interest in research to her work. She is keen on exploring her interests in transport development through multi-modal integration.

She completed her undergraduate degree in Architecture at the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, where her interest in urban problems and challenges sparked her desire to find solutions that benefit communities. After graduating, she worked independently as a multidisciplinary designer, collaborating with various clients on branding, product, and packaging design where she gained valuable experience.

When she isn’t working, you can catch her enjoying a movie with popcorn or humming to her favourite tunes.
