Varsha has been a part of the communications team since June 2022. Her professional philosophy is rooted in three guiding principles: ecological consciousness, sustainability, and cultural sensitivity, which she applies to her work in promoting sustainable mobility and urban development.

Through her expertise in graphic design, she supports the organization’s online presence, ensuring that the content is visually engaging, accessible, and user-friendly. She strives to develop strategies and initiatives that promote gender-sensitive urban design and advocate for policies and infrastructure that make streets safer and more accessible for all users.

As an accomplished illustrator and landscape architect, she brings a unique perspective to her work. She holds a post-graduate degree in Landscape Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi and a post-graduate diploma in Environment and Sustainable Development. Prior to joining ITDP, she worked on public realm landscape projects in countries in the Middle East.

In her spare time, you could find her engrossed in a book or playing a tune on her piano or ukulele in the comfort of her room.
